Lent Madness: Irenaeus of Lyons vs James the Just, Brother of Christ

In our last Lent Madness matchup, we heard Hugh of Lincoln's swan song as he was handily beaten by Gregory the Great - I guess the moral of the story is that when someone is called "the Great", they're hard to take down. Early Church Fathers are doing well so far.

Today's matchup features another early church father, the theologian Irenaeus, famous for saying that the glory of God is a human who is fully alive.

However, Irenaeus goes up against James the Just, also known as the brother of Jesus and thought to be the author of the Epistle of Jesus. That's some pretty serious street cred.
